About Twish
Twish helps you create wishlists, save things you’d love to receive, and share them with the people who ask “what do you want?” It also lets friends and guests reserve a gift from a shared wishlist so nobody doubles up, and visit the shop selling it.
Twish isn’t a store. We don’t sell, ship, or take payment for anything on your wishlist — every purchase happens on the retailer’s own site.
Who can use Twish
Twish is for anyone old enough to enter into these terms where they live. If you’re creating a wishlist on behalf of a child — for a birthday or holiday list, for example — the account, and everything on it, belongs to you, the adult who created it.
We don’t currently have a defined minimum age for creating a Twish account. If that changes, we’ll update this page.
Your account
You can sign in with a one-time email link, or with Google or Apple — Twish doesn’t use passwords, so there’s nothing to forget or leak.
You’re responsible for keeping access to your email or connected account secure, since that’s what protects your Twish account. Please give us accurate information, and don’t use someone else’s account without their permission.
Your wishlists and content
Everything you add to Twish — wishlist names, wishes, notes, images, product links, and any delivery details — stays yours. We don’t claim ownership of it.
By adding content, you give Twish the permission it needs to store it, display it back to you, and share it according to the access setting you choose for that wishlist. That’s it — we don’t use your content for anything else.
Reservations
When someone reserves a gift on your wishlist, Twish marks it as taken so other visitors don’t buy the same thing. A reservation is not a purchase, a payment, or a promise that the reserver will actually buy it — it’s a coordination tool, nothing more.
To protect the surprise, you — the wishlist owner — never see who reserved a gift, or which gifts are reserved. Other visitors just see that it’s no longer available. The person who reserved it sees their own reservation.
External products and retailers
Wishes on Twish often link to products on other websites. We don’t control those sites, and we can’t guarantee their prices, availability, or descriptions stay accurate after you add them.
Any purchase, payment, shipping, return, or warranty is a matter between you and that retailer — Twish isn’t a party to it.
Wishlist imports
Twish can try to bring over an existing wishlist from another service if you give us a link to it. This depends on that service staying reachable and readable to us, so we can’t promise it will always work, or keep working, for every provider.
Imported details — prices, images, titles — reflect what we could find at the time of import and may be out of date. Please review an imported wishlist before relying on it.
Using this feature doesn’t mean Twish is affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the service you’re importing from.
Affiliate links
Twish’s shop links are built so an affiliate program could be added to them later. As of today, no affiliate program is active — clicking a shop link takes you straight to the retailer, and Twish doesn’t earn anything from it. If that changes, we’ll update this section and let you know.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use Twish to collect people’s personal information for anything other than coordinating a gift, try to access a wishlist or delivery address you’re not meant to see, interfere with the service, or use it to send unwanted messages. We may suspend accounts that misuse Twish this way.
Intellectual property
Twish’s name, logo, and the design and code behind the product belong to us. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using Twish itself as intended.
Availability of the service
We work to keep Twish available and reliable, but like any online service it can have downtime, bugs, or changes. We can’t guarantee uninterrupted access.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your wishlists, wishes, and delivery address — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that includes.
Changes to Twish or these Terms
Twish is an early-stage product under active development. We may change features, and we may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a significant change, we’ll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
Liability and disclaimers
Twish is provided as-is, without warranties beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens on a third-party retailer’s site.
Governing law
The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms will be confirmed here before Twish’s public launch.
